gaba started in 1984 and has been going strong since then.
It is now New Zealands largest gay men, gay women, bi-sexual, trans people organisation (GGBT).
gaba is only as strong as our members and this means you should contribute by serving on the executive.
If you have any ideas of how we can work better just tell the exec or join the exec at any time during the year as a co-opted member. |

I believe gaba is about creating an effective community group. I am on the exec to help gaba use open source computer technology to achieve this. I smile at walkers and cyclist and frown on those who flash past with speed and self importance.

Awaiting inspiration.
I believe gaba is an all encompassing group for gay men,women, bisexuals and trans people, there to promote and help success in all aspects of business. The executive is important to me to so that I can push the need to bring down costs, increase the number of events and social aspects of gaba, as well as getting that white picket fence for the Big Gay Out VIP tent. What makes me gay (as in the 1920's version of happy) is of course food & drink, although am not sure if I have any order of preference. Things that hack me off are people not doing a good job.
